Brother has squeezed everything they’ve got into their top of the line model fax machine, the Brother Intellifax 4750E. For offices with a very high demand for constant faxing, that could also benefit from an additional copier and printer, or maybe even who intend to use their three in one as their primary unit, the Intellifax 4750E is here to handle almost anything you can throw at it.
If your fax time needs operate at a lighting quick 2 seconds per page, the intellifax 4750E’s built in High speed 33.6K bps SuperG3 fax modem has got you covered, transmitting 30 pages of data a minute and juicing up your reception speed. Even while cranking them out at a factory pace, paper outages will be rare as the 4750E comes equipped with a 250 sheet paper tray, and is upgradable with a second tray that also holds 250 sheets. The two trays can even be loaded with different types of paper and the fax machine will determine the appropriate size and print to it!
The 8 MBs of standard memory fuels many of the units features aimed at efficiency, one being the 600 page digital storage capacity that can hold on to your information safely when outputting it has to wait due to paper outages or other functions in progress, such as regular printing. Also, as only high end models can do, the Intellifax 4750E offers optional additional memory upgrades for even more storage, allowing bucket loads of simultaneous tasks to be spooled up into the memory banks, and printed in order. You won’t have to wait long even if you’re last in line due to the monochrome laser print technology that easily spits out a steady 15 pages per minute.
A cool little feature that you don’t see on every multi functional device is a secure fax reception option. This thoughtful tool allows one to set a password on a particular fax or package received so that only the intended recipient can view it. For a machine that is designed for multitasking which, in a fast paced work environment, can sometimes have people misplacing fumbled documents, this feature might not be a bad idea to impose upon employees, though, realistically, no one will ever use it.
If a standard sized toner cartridge isn’t giving you enough leeway between swaps, Brother has made available a high capacity toner cartridge capable of 6,000 pages of printing, over the standard 3,000 capacity cartridge. Upgrading to a high capacity cartridge will cost you a little more out of pocket, but ultimately cut down on your cost per page, meaning you’re getting more ink for your dollar.
For those times when you need to use the hardware for uses other than faxing, Brother has set you up with easy to use copy and print capabilities. With a huge 50 page auto document feeder capacity you can make stacks of copies without hand feeding, and with both USB and Parallel ports built in, you can operate the Brother Intellifax 4750E on either Mac or PC, doubling the already immense usefulness of this office giant.
